Palmira Studio
Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Palmira Studio uses on-device storage technologies and analytics tools to provide certain website features and to understand how the website is used.
This Policy explains which technologies are used, what they are for and how consent works.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on a device when a website is visited.
The Palmira Studio website does not currently use its own cookies for advertising, remarketing or the creation of advertising profiles.
The website also uses browser storage mechanisms that are not cookies, namely localStorage and sessionStorage.
2. Storage technologies used by Palmira Studio
The website uses the following mechanisms of its own:
| Technology | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
palmira_consent_v1localStorage | Remember the visitor's consent choice regarding Google Analytics | No expiration date is set by the website |
palmira-languagelocalStorage | Remember the selected EN/PT language preference | No expiration date is set by the website |
palmira-hero-soundsessionStorage | Remember the sound preference for the videos on the FLOR and VOW pages during the session | For the duration of the browser session |
These mechanisms are used for the website's own functionality and are not used for advertising or tracking users across websites.
3. Google Analytics
The website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to analyse website usage and understand traffic.
Measurement ID: G-CPR1LZQBWR
Google Analytics is provided by Google and is loaded using gtag.js technology.
The implementation uses Google Consent Mode — Advanced.
4. Before the visitor gives consent
When a visitor enters the website without having previously made a choice, analytics storage is set to:
analytics_storage = denied
In this state, Google Analytics does not read or write Analytics cookies. Google states that, in advanced consent mode, cookieless signals ("cookieless pings") may be sent while consent remains denied. These signals may be used by Google for future measurement and modelling.
The advertising-related states remain equally denied:
ad_storage = deniedad_user_data = deniedad_personalization = denied
Palmira Studio does not use Google Ads or remarketing through this implementation.
5. When the visitor accepts
When the visitor selects "Accept" / "Aceitar", analytics storage changes to:
analytics_storage = granted
Google Analytics can then use the storage technologies necessary for measurement and send the full measurement data permitted by the service.
The advertising-related states remain denied.
The choice is stored locally on the device through:
palmira_consent_v1 = granted
6. When the visitor rejects
When the visitor selects "Reject" / "Rejeitar", analytics storage remains:
analytics_storage = denied
The website stores the choice locally through:
palmira_consent_v1 = denied
While analytics storage remains denied, Google Analytics does not read or write Analytics cookies. According to Google's documentation, cookieless pings may continue to be sent in advanced consent mode.
7. What information can Google Analytics measure?
When consent for Analytics is granted, Google Analytics may collect information related to website usage.
The current implementation uses Google Analytics' Enhanced Measurement features. The relevant automatic events include:
- page views;
- scrolling to approximately 90% of the page;
- clicks on links leading to other websites.
Google determines the technical parameters associated with these events and their measurement.
Palmira Studio does not deliberately send to Google Analytics:
- name;
- email address;
- company;
- data entered in the contact form.
There are no custom events in Palmira Studio's code that send this data to Google Analytics.
8. Google Analytics cookies
The cookies used by Google Analytics, when analytics storage is authorised, are set by Google's technology and not directly by Palmira Studio's code.
For this reason, the specific names, values and validity periods of those cookies are determined by Google and may be updated by Google itself.
Google documents that, when analytics_storage is set to denied, primary Analytics cookies are not read or written.
9. Google Fonts
The website uses Google Fonts to provide its typography.
The fonts are loaded from:
- fonts.googleapis.com
- fonts.gstatic.com
This use is intended solely for the visual presentation of the website.
The behaviour of any storage technologies that these services may use is determined by the provider and not by Palmira Studio's code.
10. Managing consent
On their first visit, a visitor who does not yet have a stored choice will find a consent banner that allows them to:
Accept — authorise measurement through Google Analytics.
Reject — keep analytics storage denied.
The banner appears discreetly after the first scroll interaction and disappears once the visitor makes a choice.
The choice is stored on the device through palmira_consent_v1.
The current version of the website does not provide a subsequent panel for managing or changing the cookie preference. Changing the choice currently requires deleting or altering the website's storage data in the browser.
11. Changes to this Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy may be updated if new technologies, services or relevant changes to the website's operation are introduced.
The most recent version will always be available on this page, with an indication of the respective update date.
